Würth A9 BAS Neutral Silicone in Anthracite Grey RAL 7016 is a professional-quality sealant designed for connecting, expansion and sealing joints in both interior and exterior applications.

The anthracite grey finish makes it particularly suitable for use around modern RAL 7016 window and door frames, helping create a neat, coordinated and professional-looking seal.

The neutral-cure formulation offers reliable adhesion to a wide range of commonly used construction materials. These include glass, tiles, ceramics, enamel, clinker, aluminium, steel, zinc, copper, treated or painted timber and various plastics.

Once cured, the silicone remains flexible, helping it accommodate movement around windows, doors, frames and construction joints. It is also resistant to ageing, weathering and ultraviolet exposure, making it suitable for areas exposed to changing outdoor conditions.

Directions for use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, stable and free from dust, oil, grease and loose material.

Apply the silicone evenly into the prepared joint using a suitable sealant gun. Where required, use an appropriate backing material to achieve the correct joint depth.

Smooth the silicone using a suitable finishing tool or smoothing agent before a surface skin begins to form.

Porous materials such as concrete may require a suitable primer before application.
