It is particularly useful for window and door installation, repair and finishing work where a fast bond is required. The activator can help speed up the fixing of uPVC trims, corners, finishing pieces and other small compatible components, reducing the time needed to hold parts in position while the adhesive cures.

Directions for use

Ensure the surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil and other contamination.

Apply a light, even coat of activator to one of the surfaces being bonded. Allow the solvent to evaporate in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions before applying a compatible super glue to the opposite surface.

Position the parts accurately and press them firmly together. The bond may form within seconds, so ensure the components are correctly aligned before making contact.

Avoid excessive application, as too much activator may affect the appearance or final performance of the adhesive.

Important information

Always test the activator on a small, inconspicuous area before use, particularly on coloured, foiled, painted or coated window profiles.

Use only with compatible cyanoacrylate adhesives. The use of an activator may reduce the final bond strength compared with adhesive cured under ideal natural conditions.

The aerosol is flammable and should be kept away from heat, sparks and naked flames. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid breathing the spray and follow the manufacturer’s current safety data sheet.
